What this status means
Wanb Express has received the electronic shipping details for your parcel from the sender: who it is for, where it is going and what it is. This is the very first stage. The parcel itself has usually not reached Wanb Express yet and may still be with the seller, who is packing it or arranging pickup.
Is my package delayed?
No, this message by itself is normal. It only means the order has been registered. Most often the next update is "Parcel received", which is recorded when the parcel physically arrives with the courier. If the status stays here for longer than the previous steps took, the seller may be slow to hand the parcel over.
What happens next
The sender hands the parcel to Wanb Express or to a collection point, and it is scanned on arrival. Then the status changes to "Parcel received" and the parcel moves on towards sorting and onward transport. In a few cases you may first see another preparation message from the sender, such as a note that the parcel is still being prepared.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. Nothing is needed from you at this stage.
- If the status does not change for longer than you expected, ask the seller whether the parcel has been handed over.
- Contact the seller first, as they control when the parcel is dispatched. Have your tracking number and order details ready.
- Contact Wanb Express only if the seller confirms dispatch but the tracking still does not move.
