Due geopolitical situation flights are cancelled to UAE / Please expect delay

Aramex tracking parcel

What this status means

Aramex is telling you that flights to the UAE have been cancelled because of the geopolitical situation, and that your parcel is affected. The parcel is with Aramex, on the way from the origin country towards the UAE, and is waiting for air transport to become available again. It has not been lost or returned.

Is my package delayed?

Yes. This message is an exception: the courier itself says to expect a delay. The cause is outside Aramex's control, so the delay may be longer than usual. The same message sometimes appears twice in a row while the parcel waits.

What happens next

Once a route is available, the parcel moves on and the history shows that it has reached an Aramex transit office and is heading to the final destination office. In some cases the same delay message is simply repeated first. Parcels that were already moving may show the opposite order, with a transit step before the delay notice.

  • Delay message repeated: the parcel is still waiting.
  • Arrival at a transit office: it is moving again.

What you can do

  • Wait and keep checking the tracking history for a new entry.
  • If the status does not change for much longer than the previous steps took, contact Aramex with your tracking number.
  • If you ordered from a shop or marketplace, ask the seller whether they can offer an update or a refund. Have your order details and tracking number ready.
  • Make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct, so delivery goes smoothly once the parcel arrives.
