CNE Express hands the final delivery of some parcels to a local partner, here named as SwiftX. The driver reached your address but could not get in to leave the parcel. The note gives the reason: restricted entry or security requirements. This is typical of gated communities, office buildings with a front desk, campuses or apartment blocks with locked doors. The parcel is with the delivery driver or has been returned to the local delivery depot.
Is my package delayed?
This is an exception, not a routine scan. The parcel has not been lost, but it has not been delivered, so it will arrive later than planned unless access is sorted out. How much later depends on whether the carrier can reach you and whether another attempt is made.
What happens next
- The carrier usually schedules another delivery attempt, often after the access problem is cleared up.
- The parcel may instead be held at the local depot for collection or contact.
- If delivery keeps failing, it may eventually be returned to the sender.
What you can do
- Check your tracking page for a new attempt before doing anything else.
- Tell your building manager, front desk or gate security that a parcel is expected, and ask how couriers can get in.
- Contact the delivery partner using the phone number or email in the message. Have your tracking number, delivery address and a phone number ready, and offer a gate code, a meeting point or an alternative address.
- If you get no answer, contact the seller or CNE Express with your order details.
