CNE Express scanned the parcel at one of its sorting facilities, and the automatic sorting step did not complete. The empty brackets at the end mean the system added no detail, such as a reason or a destination. The parcel is still inside CNE Express's network, most likely at a sorting centre in China. This is not a sign that it is lost.
This message is an exception. It means the parcel missed its normal automatic sorting and probably needs to be handled again, usually by hand or with a fresh scan. That can add time, so the parcel may take longer than the previous steps did. It does not by itself mean a serious problem, and many parcels continue normally once they are re-sorted.
The usual next stage is a new sorting scan, after which the parcel is sent on toward the next hub or the export stage. If a label is damaged or unreadable, staff may need to fix it first. Once the parcel moves again, a new checkpoint should appear in the history.
