What this status means
DPD Belgium has brought your parcel to a pick-up point, called a retrieval point, and it is now on the shelf waiting for you. This is the final stage of the journey. The parcel is no longer travelling. It is held at a shop or service point near the address you chose, or one the courier selected for you.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message is normal and means the delivery has worked as planned. The only thing left to happen is your collection. The parcel will not wait indefinitely, so collect it promptly.
What happens next
Nothing more happens until you collect the parcel. Once the staff scan it at hand-over, the status should change to delivered. If it is not collected within the holding period set by the pick-up point, it is usually sent back to the sender.
What you can do
- Check the notification you received for the pick-up point's name, address and opening hours, and for the collection deadline.
- Bring photo ID and your tracking number or the collection code if you were sent one.
- If the point says it cannot find the parcel, contact DPD Belgium with your tracking number.
- If you cannot collect it in time, ask the seller or DPD Belgium what your options are before the deadline.
