PUDO Inbound Success, Parcel inbound success at the parcelshop

What this status means

Your parcel has been scanned in at the parcelshop (a PUDO, or pick-up/drop-off point) where it will be collected. The shop has registered it as received, so it is physically there or has just been handed over. It is the last stage before collection. Ecoscooting normally sends this after a "Delivered to PUDO" message or after the parcel went out for delivery.

Is my package delayed?

No, this message on its own is normal and means the parcel has reached its destination. The thing to watch is the collection deadline. In about one third of cases the next update is that the parcel expired at the parcelshop and will be returned to the sender, usually because nobody collected it in time.

What happens next

• Most often, about half of the time, the parcel is collected and the status changes to "PUDO Sign Success".
• If it is not collected in time, it is marked as expired and sent back to the sender.
• Occasionally an earlier "Delivered to PUDO" message appears again before the status settles.

What you can do

• Look for a notification from Ecoscooting saying the parcel is ready, and check the collection deadline in it.
• Go to the parcelshop with a photo ID and your tracking number or collection code.
• If the shop cannot find the parcel, contact Ecoscooting with your tracking number.
• If the deadline has passed or no notification has arrived, contact the seller with your order details before the parcel is returned.
