What this status means
"בוצע שינוי ניתוב" means "routing change made". Israel Post has changed the route its system has planned for your parcel. This usually happens soon after the parcel was received ("התקבל"). The parcel is in the postal network, and the system has updated which way it will go next. It is a routine, automatic update, not a report of a problem.
Is my package delayed?
On its own, this message is normal. It does not mean the parcel is lost or held. The steps that follow are mostly ordinary progress, such as leaving the country or starting customs clearance. Only if the tracking stays on this line for longer than the previous steps took is it worth a closer look.
What happens next
- Most often, about 41% of the time, the parcel leaves the departure country or region.
- In some cases, Israel Post starts sorting the parcel and then sends it on to you.
- Sometimes import or export customs clearance begins.
- Less often, the parcel is accepted again or arrives at a transport hub.
