La Poste (including its parcel arm Colissimo) tried to deliver your parcel today and did not manage to. The message says it will be put out for delivery again as soon as possible. The parcel is still with La Poste, usually at the local delivery office or in the delivery vehicle's network. It has not been lost or returned.
This is an exception, but a common and usually minor one. It means one delivery attempt failed, so delivery will be later than planned. The message itself does not suggest a serious problem. Some versions of it mention a cause outside La Poste's control, such as a disruption on the delivery round.
The parcel is normally scheduled for another delivery round, and the tracking history should then show it as out for delivery again. The message also says you can choose a new delivery date or a pickup point until midnight on the same day, using La Poste's website. If you do not choose, the parcel goes back into the normal delivery schedule.
