What this status means
La Poste is telling you, in French, that your parcel is moving through its logistics platforms. These are the large sorting and transfer centres where parcels are scanned, grouped by destination and loaded onto the next truck, train or plane. Your parcel is in the network and between collection and delivery.
Is my package delayed?
This message by itself is normal. It is a routine progress update, not an exception. The same line often appears more than once in a row, because the parcel can be scanned at several platforms on its way. A repeat does not mean something has gone wrong.
What happens next
- Most often, the same message appears again as the parcel passes through another platform.
- In about one third of cases, the next update says the parcel continues its journey to its destination territory. This usually means it is being sent on towards another country or region, and customs handling may follow.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Frequent scans show the parcel is moving.
- If the history stops updating for longer than the previous steps took, contact the seller first, as they hold the shipping contract.
- If the seller cannot help, contact La Poste with your tracking number and order details ready.
- If the parcel is crossing a border, check whether customs duties may apply.
