Pakistan Post has passed your parcel on for its journey abroad. "EDI-received" means the electronic data about the parcel (sender, destination, weight) has been received by the system that handles international exchange. The parcel is leaving Pakistan's postal network and moving towards the destination country's postal service.
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine export step. Some parcels show it after a failed delivery attempt or after arriving at a sorting centre abroad, so the order of updates can look odd. That does not necessarily mean a problem.
The next update is almost always "Receive item at office of exchange in destination country". That is the point where the destination country's postal service takes the parcel in and, where needed, customs checks begin. Updates may come in bursts or after a gap, because the parcel is travelling between postal operators.
