What this status means
SkyNet has recorded the shipment details in its system and closed the booking, so the parcel is registered with the courier. This is an early administrative step. The status doesn't say the parcel has reached a particular depot or airport. Often it is still with the sender or has only just been handed over.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. It does not point to a problem such as a hold, a failed delivery or a customs issue. If the parcel stays on this line for longer than the previous steps took, that is worth watching, but the message alone is no cause for concern.
What happens next
Almost always, the next entry is "Documentation Prepared". That means the paperwork for transport, and for export or import where needed, is being drawn up. After that the parcel normally moves into transit toward the destination country, and further scan updates follow.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking again later. New entries usually appear once the parcel is physically moving.
- If nothing changes for longer than usual, ask the seller or marketplace whether the parcel has actually been handed to SkyNet.
- If the seller confirms it was handed over, contact SkyNet with your tracking number and order details.
- Keep an eye out for a later customs or payment notice, as international parcels can require duties.
