Tajikistan Post (Pochtai Tajik) is a state-owned enterprise responsible for forwarding mail in Tajikistan and in 180 countries. The main office is in Dushanbe. The company was founded in 1991 after the proclamation of the Republic of Tajikistan as an independent state when it became necessary to reorganize the communications industry. In 1994, the country became a member of the Universal Postal Union. The structure of the company unites 50 centers, 550 branches, 691 post offices, 3 regional institutions, 1 interregional, Dushanbe post office, post-processing center, and postmark center.

Parcels weighing up to 31,5 kg can be sent from Russia to Tajikistan by mail. Up to 20 kg - by postal services: regular or expedited dispatch, up to 31,5 kg - by express delivery by EMS. The package travel time is from 1 week to 1,5 months, depending on the selected tariff.
