What this status means
The parcel reached the return warehouse used by Aliexpress Standard Shipping and was disposed of there. This usually happens to returned or undeliverable parcels that the warehouse cannot send back to the seller or resell, for example because the item is damaged, not worth returning or not accepted. The parcel is no longer in the shipping network.
Is my package delayed?
This is not a delay. It usually means the parcel's journey has ended and it will not be delivered or returned. The follow-up messages are mixed, though. Most often the tracking goes back to "Return warehouse inbound success", and in about a third of cases to "Exception parcel handling in sorting center". So the entry may be a data glitch or may be followed by further handling, but it should not be assumed to be harmless.
What happens next
Often nothing more happens, or the history shows another warehouse scan or an exception entry. Sometimes the tracking jumps back to an earlier step, such as a return inbound. A destroyed parcel does not normally continue to a delivery address.
What you can do
- Check the tracking again after a short while, in case the entry is corrected.
- If you are the buyer, open or check the order or dispute in the marketplace and ask the seller what happened to the parcel.
- If you sent a return, ask the seller to confirm whether they received it, and keep your proof of shipment.
- Have the tracking number, order number and return details ready when you contact the seller or courier.
