What this status means
"Affecté au bordereau" is French for "assigned to the delivery sheet". The parcel has reached a local delivery depot in a French-speaking country and has been added to a courier's list of parcels to deliver. It is physically at the depot or already with the delivery person, and this is one of the last steps before delivery.
Is my package delayed?
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a sign of progress, not an exception. Most often it follows an arrival or departure scan at a local facility, which is the expected order.
What happens next
Most often the next update is a delivery confirmation, in about four out of five cases. Sometimes it is a mailbox delivery note. In a smaller share of cases, about one in eight, the delivery attempt fails, for example because nobody could receive the parcel or the address could not be reached. The courier then usually tries again or arranges another way to hand over the parcel.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Make sure someone can receive the parcel or that it fits your mailbox.
- Check that your address, phone number and any door code in the order are correct.
- If a delivery attempt fails or the status does not change for longer than the previous steps took, contact the courier.
- If the courier cannot help, contact the seller or the marketplace. Have your tracking number and order details ready.
