What this status means
Your parcel is inside a DHL Poland sorting depot. Depots are large facilities where parcels are scanned, sorted by destination and loaded onto the next vehicle. This is a routine middle stage of the journey. The parcel is not with a courier yet and has not reached your local delivery branch.
Is my package delayed?
This message by itself is normal and not an exception. It often appears more than once, because a parcel can pass through several depots on its way. If the same line stays unchanged for longer than the previous steps took, that may point to a slowdown, but the message alone does not mean a problem.
What happens next
- Most often, in about a third of cases, the parcel arrives at a branch office.
- In about a quarter of cases, it is processed at another sorting depot.
- For some parcels, the next step is leaving Poland, which applies to international shipments.
- In about one case in seven, the parcel goes straight out to a courier for delivery.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking history again after a while. A new scan means the parcel is moving.
- If nothing changes for longer than the earlier steps took, contact the seller first, since they hold the shipping contract.
- If the seller cannot help, contact DHL Poland.
- Have your tracking number, order details and delivery address ready.
