GLS has scanned your parcel at one of its parcel centers. These are large sorting sites where parcels from many senders are collected, sorted by destination and loaded onto the next vehicle. It is a normal middle step of the journey, and your parcel is inside the GLS network.
This message by itself is normal and not an exception. It shows the parcel is moving. A parcel may pass through a parcel center more than once, so you may see similar lines again. Only if the status stays the same for longer than the previous steps took is it worth looking closer.
After sorting, the parcel is usually sent on to another parcel center or to the depot that serves your delivery area. From the depot it is loaded onto a delivery vehicle, and the status then normally changes to out for delivery.
