La Poste is telling you that your parcel was sent the wrong way somewhere in its journey, for example to a sorting centre that was not on its route. The French message says an error occurred in the routing of your item, that La Poste is working to put it back on its path, and it apologises. The parcel is still inside the La Poste network and is being redirected towards the correct delivery site.
This is an exception, not a routine step. A misrouted parcel has to travel an extra leg, so it will usually arrive later than first expected. The message alone does not mean the parcel is lost or damaged, and you should not assume that.
The parcel should be sent on to the correct sorting or distribution site. You will then normally see new scan events showing it moving again, followed by the usual final steps: arrival at the delivery site, out for delivery, then delivered or available for pickup. The extra transfer may make the gap between scans longer than the previous steps.
