La Poste has noticed that your parcel was sent the wrong way or handled at the wrong point. It is a routing mistake inside the network, not a problem with your address or your order. The parcel is still with La Poste, usually at a sorting platform, and is being put back on the correct route.
This is an exception, but usually a minor one. A wrong turn adds extra handling, so the parcel may arrive later than first expected. The message does not mean the parcel is lost. In most cases the next updates are ordinary transit or sorting messages, which suggests the parcel returns to its normal route.
Most often you will see a routine update such as the parcel moving through the logistics platforms (about one third of cases) or being processed at the local sorting site (about a quarter). Less often it is announced at the delivery hub, on its way to a first platform, or being sorted at a departure platform. After that, tracking should continue as normal toward delivery.
