What this status means

"Siunta priimta" is Lithuanian for "Parcel accepted". Lithuania Post has received the parcel from the sender, either at a post office or through another drop-off point. The parcel is now in the postal network. Most often this line follows the label being created, which only meant the sender had registered the shipment.

Is my package delayed?

No. This message by itself is normal and is one of the first steps of the journey. It is not an exception or a sign of a problem. The parcel has only just started moving, so it is not expected to show much progress yet.

What happens next

Most often, in about three quarters of cases, the next update is "Siunta skirstymo centre", meaning the parcel has reached a sorting centre. In some cases it is first logged at the sorting centre in the sender's country, or it is marked as sent abroad. Parcels left in a parcel locker are first collected by a courier, which adds a step.

What you can do

  • Wait and keep checking the tracking history for the next scan.
  • If nothing new appears for longer than the previous steps took, ask the seller to confirm the parcel was handed over.
  • If the seller cannot help, contact Lithuania Post with the tracking number and your order details.
  • If the parcel is coming from abroad, be ready for possible customs checks later.
