IN TRANSIT - HUB SCAN

TrakPak tracking parcel

What this status means

TrakPak scanned your parcel at one of its sorting hubs while it was moving through the network. The parcel is between the place it was collected and the place it will be delivered from. The scan is a routine checkpoint that records where the parcel is. It does not mean anything has happened to it.

Is my package delayed?

This message by itself is normal. It often appears more than once in a row, because the parcel can be scanned at several hubs or at several points within the same hub. If it repeats, that usually reflects the route, not a fault. It only becomes a concern if the tracking history stops updating for longer than usual.

What happens next

Most often, in about two fifths of cases, the next entry is another hub scan. After that, the usual steps are:

  • "Departed" as the parcel leaves the hub
  • A transfer to a partner carrier
  • Arrival or acceptance at a FedEx processing centre

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking history again later. Repeated hub scans are not a reason to act.
  • If the history stays unchanged for longer than the earlier steps took, contact the seller first, since they ordered the shipment.
  • If the seller cannot help, contact TrakPak. Have your tracking number, order details and delivery address ready.
