"Gateway transit out" is a UniUni scan showing that your parcel has left a gateway, one of the larger sorting hubs where parcels are grouped and sent on towards their destination area. It was almost always preceded by "Gateway transit in", the scan made when the parcel arrived at that same hub. The parcel is now on a truck or other transfer vehicle between facilities.
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine step in the middle of the journey, and it means the parcel is moving. In nearly all cases the next scan is an arrival at the next facility, so a problem is unlikely. A delay would only show up if the next update takes longer than the previous steps did, or if a message about a processing delay appears.
Most often (about 97% of cases) the next scan is "Arrival scan", made when the parcel reaches the next facility. Occasionally it is logged as received in bulk at a warehouse instead. After that the parcel is sorted again and moves on towards local delivery. There may be no new scan while it is travelling between facilities, so a quiet tracking page is expected.
