A UPS Access Point is a local shop or locker that works with UPS to take in parcels. This message means your package is at one of these locations, usually because someone dropped it off there to be sent. "Tendered to UPS" means handed over to UPS. The package is waiting at the Access Point for UPS to collect it and take it into its own network.
Is my package delayed?
No, this message by itself is normal. It marks the very start of the journey, before UPS has the package in its own vehicles and facilities. It only becomes a concern if the status stays the same for longer than usual after the drop-off.
What happens next
A UPS driver collects the package from the Access Point. It is then scanned as received by UPS and moves on to a UPS sorting facility. From that point the tracking history usually shows more frequent updates as the parcel travels toward its destination.

- Wait and keep checking the tracking page. The next scan should appear once UPS collects the package.
- If you are the sender, keep your drop-off receipt until the package is delivered.
