Aramex has prepared the customs declaration for your parcel and submitted it so customs officers can review it. The parcel is in the import process, usually at a customs facility or an Aramex hub in the destination country. This is a routine step for parcels that cross a border, and it does not mean your parcel has been opened.
By itself, this message is normal. It is a standard part of customs clearance. The wait at this step can be longer than at the previous ones, because the parcel has to wait for the customs review. It only becomes a concern if the status stays the same for much longer than usual, or if a message about missing information, unpaid charges or a held shipment follows.
Once customs has reviewed the declaration, the usual next stage is clearance, and the parcel goes back into Aramex's local network for delivery. Sometimes customs asks for extra documents or for duties and taxes to be paid first. If so, Aramex or the seller will normally contact you, and the tracking history will show the change.
