Aramex

Shipment received at Aramex origin sorting facility

Aramex tracking parcel

What this status means

Aramex has received your parcel at its origin sorting facility, the first Aramex site in the country where the parcel was sent from. The parcel is physically in Aramex's hands and is being sorted so it can be sent on toward the destination country. This is an early step in the journey.

Is my package delayed?

No. This message on its own is normal, not an exception. It often appears right after the seller hands the parcel over, or after a first processing scan. Aramex tracking can be uneven, so you may see messages repeat or appear in an unusual order.

What happens next

Most often, in about half of cases (55%), the next update says the shipment is being processed and is on its way to the next destination. Less often, the parcel is shown as arriving at the destination Aramex office and being prepared for pickup or delivery. Some parcels get another transit or origin-office scan in between.

What you can do

  • Wait and keep checking. Updates may come in bursts as the parcel moves between facilities.
  • If the status stays the same for longer than the previous steps took, contact the seller first, since they arranged the shipment.
  • If the seller cannot help, contact Aramex with your tracking number and order details.
