What this status means
"航空公司接收" means "received by the airline". China Post has handed your parcel to an airline, or to the airline's cargo handler, at the departure airport in China. The parcel is at the airport, waiting to be loaded onto an international flight. It is the step just before takeoff.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is a routine part of international air shipping. It usually follows the handover to the carrier ("已交承运商运输"). A delay is only likely if this status stays unchanged for longer than the previous steps took.
What happens next
Most often, in about nine out of ten cases, the next update is "航空公司启运", meaning the airline has departed with your parcel. After that you can expect an arrival scan at the destination country's airport, then customs processing and handover to the local postal service. Updates may appear with a lag, because scans at airports are not always uploaded straight away.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking again later. Flight and customs scans can appear in batches.
- If the status stays the same for longer than usual, ask the seller to look into it.
- If the seller cannot help, contact China Post or your local post office. Have the tracking number and your order details ready.
- Be prepared for possible import duties or taxes once the parcel reaches your country.
