What this status means
Cyprus Post has received your parcel at a collection point, where it is held for pick-up instead of being brought to your door. "Inb" marks an inbound item, meaning a parcel arriving from abroad. The parcel is now at the local end of its journey.
Is my package delayed?
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a late-stage step and not an exception. Some parcels reach it after a failed delivery attempt ("Item not delivered"), which is a common route here. In that case the parcel has been redirected to the collection point, not lost.
What happens next
- Most often, in about 95% of cases, the next entry is "Deliver item (Inb)", which means the parcel was handed over.
- In a few cases, a further delivery failure is recorded.
- The parcel is held until it is collected, so it will not move on its own.
What you can do
- Check for a notice from Cyprus Post or the seller, which may name the exact collection point.
- Take the tracking number and photo ID when you go to collect it.
- Be aware that a pick-up deadline may apply, and customs duties may be due on international parcels.
- If you cannot find the collection point, or the parcel is not there, contact Cyprus Post with the tracking number. If that does not help, contact the seller with your order details.
