What this status means
Your parcel has reached the local delivery depot of Deutsche Post in the destination country. This is the last stage before it goes out to your address. Staff are sorting it by delivery round so it can be put on a vehicle. It is not the shipper preparing your order; the parcel has already travelled and is now close to you.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is a good sign. It usually follows the parcel leaving the import parcel center, which is the step just before the depot.
What happens next
- Most often (about seven in ten cases) the next entry is that the shipment has been delivered.
- In about one in ten cases, the parcel is first loaded onto the delivery vehicle.
- Less often, a delivery attempt fails or the parcel is held for pick-up.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Make sure someone can receive the parcel.
- If a delivery attempt fails, check that the address and any apartment or door details are correct.
- If the status stays the same for longer than the previous steps took, contact Deutsche Post or the seller.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you do.
