What this status means
The sender has created a shipping label and entered the parcel's details into DPD Poland's system. DPD knows the parcel is coming, but it has not yet received it. The parcel is most likely still with the sender, or on its way to DPD. Some earlier steps on the page can come from other carriers or warehouses, so the order of events may look mixed.
Is my package delayed?
This message by itself is normal. It is the first DPD step and does not point to a problem. It only becomes a concern if it stays the latest update for longer than the previous steps took.
What happens next
Most often, in about three out of five cases, the next update is that the parcel was collected by the courier. Otherwise it is usually received at a DPD depot, dropped off at a pickup point, or marked as collected. After that it moves into DPD's normal sorting and delivery.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking again later. Nothing is needed from you at this stage.
- If the status does not change for longer than usual, ask the seller whether the parcel has been handed to DPD.
- If the seller confirms it was handed over, contact DPD Poland.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you get in touch.
