DELIVERY MAY BE DELAYED DUE TO

Emile Corp tracking parcel

What this status means

Emile Corp has added a notice to your tracking history saying delivery may be delayed. The message is cut off, so the cause is not spelled out. It is a warning flag, not a scan at a particular place. Your parcel is still somewhere in the courier's network, usually between pickup and the final delivery run. Sometimes it has already been out on a delivery round.

Is my package delayed?

This message is an exception notice, so some delay is possible. It does not mean the parcel is lost or damaged. Most parcels move on afterwards: in about two thirds of cases the next entry is a routine movement such as "TASK ASSIGNED" or "IN TRANSIT". A small share end with a return to the sender, so keep an eye on the next updates.

What happens next

  • Most often, a courier task is assigned and the parcel continues to the next stage.
  • Sometimes it is scanned as "IN TRANSIT" or leaves a facility ("OUTBOUND SCANNED").
  • If an earlier exception was logged, you may see "ORDER EXCEPTION RELEASED".
  • In rare cases the parcel is returned to the sender.

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking history again. A new scan usually appears first.
  • If nothing changes for longer than the previous steps took, contact Emile Corp with your tracking number.
  • If the parcel is a purchase, also ask the seller. They can raise a query with the courier and, if needed, arrange a resend or refund.
  • Make sure your address and phone number are correct, in case the courier needs to reach you.
