La Poste is telling you that the address on your parcel is incomplete or wrong, for example a missing apartment number, a misspelled street or an unclear postcode. The message says the correction is already under way. The parcel is still within La Poste's network, usually at a sorting facility, while staff or a system fix the address details so delivery can go ahead.
This is an exception, though a minor one. The message itself is not a failure, because La Poste is correcting the address on its own. Still, the extra handling can make the journey take longer than the previous steps. If the address can't be fixed, the parcel may be held or sent back.
Once the address is corrected, the parcel normally goes back into the regular flow: onward sorting, then transport to the local delivery office, then out for delivery. If the correction fails, the tracking may show a delivery problem or a hold at a pickup point instead.
