Meest Express

Batch of parcels Left from transit hub

Meest Express tracking parcel

What this status means

Meest Express has moved your parcel, together with others in the same batch, out of a transit hub. The parcel is now travelling to the next point on its route, usually by truck or air. It is still in the middle of its journey and has not yet reached the destination country's local delivery network.

Is my package delayed?

No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine step that most parcels pass through. Most often the next scan is a customs entry, which is also a standard stage for international shipments. Only if the tracking stays unchanged for longer than the previous steps took is it worth looking into.

What happens next

In most cases the next update is customs processing, shown in Russian as "ТАМОЖЕННОЕ ОФОРМЛЕНИЕ". Less often you will see arrival at an inward office of exchange, a pending customs clearance note, or arrival at an international sorting centre. After customs, the parcel is handed to a local carrier for final delivery.

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking again later. Updates can come in bursts after a gap, because batches are scanned together.
  • Be ready for customs: depending on the contents and value, duties or tax may apply, and customs may ask for details.
  • If the status has not changed for longer than usual, contact the seller first, then Meest Express.
  • Have your tracking number and order details ready when you do.
