Italy Post tried to deliver the parcel, but the delivery did not go through because the recipient had not paid the fees due on it (the Italian message says "diritti", meaning customs duties or handling charges for an international parcel). The parcel is now held at an SDA branch, the courier that handles final delivery in Italy, where it can be collected.
This is an exception, not a routine step. The parcel has not been lost, but it will not reach you until the outstanding fees are dealt with. The delivery will take longer than usual if the payment is not settled.
