What this status means
"TRANSFER SÜRECİNDE" is Turkish for "in the transfer process". Turkey Post (PTT) uses it when your parcel has been accepted and is being moved between its facilities, for example from a local office to a sorting centre or on toward the international export point. The parcel is on the road or between handling points inside the PTT network, not waiting at your door.
Is my package delayed?
By itself, this message is normal. It often appears right after the parcel is accepted (about half of the cases) and can repeat, since about one in five times the previous message was also this one. Repeats usually mean the parcel is passing through several facilities. Only a long gap with no new scan, longer than the previous steps, would be a reason to look closer.
What happens next
For international shipments, the most common next step, in about six out of ten cases, is a message saying the parcel was sent abroad ("Yurtdışına Sevk Edildi" or similar). In about one in five cases, another transfer message follows. Less often, the parcel is received at a delivery centre. Rarely, it is put on hold ("Elde Kalmış Gönderi"), which means the parcel is being held and needs attention.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking history again after some time. Repeated transfer messages are not a problem on their own.
- If the status does not change for longer than the earlier steps took, contact the seller first.
- If the seller cannot help, contact Turkey Post with your tracking number.
- Keep your order details and the seller's shipping confirmation ready.
