SF Express

Shipment transiting to next station

SF Express tracking parcel

What this status means

SF Express has scanned your parcel as it left one of its facilities, such as a distribution center, and it is now travelling to the next station on its route. The parcel is on a truck, plane or other transfer between two SF Express sites. It is not waiting for you to do anything.

Is my package delayed?

No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine movement scan, and the parcel can pass through several stations on the way to you. It only becomes a concern if the tracking history stops updating for longer than usual.

What happens next

Most often, in about half of cases, the next update is that the parcel has arrived at another distribution center. Other possible steps include:

  • A flight departure, if the route includes air transport
  • Another "transiting to next station" scan
  • Handover to an agent for local delivery
  • Customs clearance, for international parcels

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking history again later. Parcels often move between scans without new entries.
  • If there is no update for longer than usual, contact SF Express and have your tracking number ready.
  • If that does not help, ask the seller to investigate, and keep your order details and confirmation at hand.
