"Shipment arrived at connection point" means your parcel has reached an intermediate stop in the TNT network, such as a hub or transfer point. It is not the delivery depot and not the final address. Here the parcel is unloaded, sorted and put on the next vehicle or flight toward its destination.
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine step in a parcel's journey and does not point to a problem. Parcels can pass through several connection points, so you may see it more than once. Only if the tracking stays on this line for noticeably longer than the previous steps is it worth looking into.
Most often, in about two thirds of cases, the next update is "Shipment in transit", meaning the parcel has left the connection point and is moving on. Less often it goes to "Shipment now at depot nearest to delivery address", which means it is close to its destination and being prepared for the final delivery round. Occasionally it arrives at another TNT location first.
