What this status means

Yanwen has scanned your parcel as it left one of its own processing facilities, usually in China, where parcels are collected, sorted and grouped. The parcel is early in its journey. It is on its way to the next handling point, such as a local station or the export stage, and has not yet left the country.

Is my package delayed?

No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. It most often follows the first processing or pickup scans, so it simply shows the parcel moving forward. Only if the tracking stays on this line for longer than the previous steps took is it worth paying attention.

What happens next

  • Most often, in about half of cases, the next update is "Arrived at station", meaning the parcel reached another handling point.
  • In a little under half of cases, the next update is "International shipment release - Export", meaning the parcel is being cleared to leave the country.
  • Occasionally a new "Shipment created" entry appears as the parcel is passed on to another carrier's system.

What you can do

  • Wait and check the tracking again later. Updates can be uneven early in the journey, especially around export.
  • If the status stays unchanged for longer than usual, contact the seller first. They have the shipping records and can ask Yanwen to investigate.
  • Have your tracking number, order number and the order date ready when you write.
