What this status means
The parcel has been cleared by customs in the country it is being shipped from. This follows the earlier "Export customs clearance started" step. The parcel is still in the origin country, usually at a sorting or export facility, and is now approved to leave.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is a positive step. It is not an exception or a sign of a problem. A delay is only likely if the next update takes much longer than the previous steps did.
What happens next
Most often the next update is "Departed" (about two thirds of cases), or "Leaving from departure country/region" (about one third). Both mean the parcel is being handed over for international transport. Import customs steps in the destination country come later, so you will not usually see them straight away.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Updates can pause while the parcel is in the air or at sea.
- If nothing changes for longer than usual, contact the seller through the marketplace and ask them to check with the courier.
- Have your order number and tracking number ready when you write.
- Later, import customs may ask for correct recipient details or duties. Check that your name, address and phone number on the order are accurate.
