"Label correction applied" means Canada Post changed the shipping label on your parcel. This usually happens at a sorting facility, where the parcel is physically being handled. The label may have been damaged or hard to scan, or the address or routing details may have needed fixing. Staff or a machine then added a corrected label so the parcel can be sorted properly.
This message by itself is not a sign of a problem. It is a minor exception, a small fix made during normal processing. It sits between two "Item processed" scans, so the parcel was still moving through the network before and after the correction. A delay is possible if the fix held the parcel up, but this message does not confirm one.
The next scan is almost always another "Item processed", which means the parcel has been sorted again with its corrected label. After that it should continue to the next facility and then toward delivery, as with any ordinary parcel.
