What this status means
The parcel has reached the DHL Parcel depot that serves your area. It is no longer travelling between regions and is now in the final part of its journey. It is being prepared for the local courier round that will bring it to your address.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is not an exception. It often appears right after DHL has already planned the delivery in a courier's route, and sometimes it is repeated. A repeat is usually just a further scan at the depot and does not point to a problem.
What happens next
Most often, in about two thirds of cases, the next update is "Entered into handheld device of the courier". This means the parcel has been assigned to a courier's round. In roughly one case in seven, the next message is "Out for delivery with the courier", which means it is on the van. Delivery follows after that.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Nothing is needed from you at this stage.
- Make sure someone can accept the parcel, or check whether a safe place or neighbour delivery is possible.
- If the status stays the same for longer than the previous steps took, contact the seller first.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you get in touch.
