DHL Parcel Netherlands has assigned your parcel to a courier's delivery route. The parcel is in the delivery area near you, usually at a local depot or CityHub, and is being sorted for the courier who will bring it to your address.
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a regular step just before delivery. Occasionally a parcel is planned again for a later route, which can happen when a route is full or a delivery attempt does not work out. That is the exception, not the rule.
Most often, in about three quarters of cases, the next message is "Arrived in your region", and delivery follows after that. In some cases the same route message appears again, or a message about a new delivery attempt on the next delivery day. A few parcels are redirected to a DHL ServicePoint instead.
