The FedEx driver tried to deliver your package but could not reach the delivery point. The address has security restrictions, such as a gated community, a locked building, a business with controlled entry or a site that needs a visitor pass. The package is not lost. It was on the delivery vehicle, and it is now going back to the local FedEx facility.
This is an exception, so the delivery will probably be later than first planned. It is a common one, though, and it does not mean the package is damaged. The message itself says delivery will be reattempted.
Most often the package goes back to a local FedEx facility, shown as "At local FedEx facility" (about 45% of cases) or "Arrived at FedEx location" (about 22%). From there it is loaded for another delivery attempt. In about a quarter of cases the next update is "Delivered", which means the second try worked.
