What this status means
Economy SpeedPAK has scanned your parcel as received at a distribution centre (DC) in the destination country. The parcel has already crossed the border by air. Most often the previous step is the freight handler collecting it at the airport. This scan is the first check-in at the local facility.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is normal and is part of the usual route for this service. It is not an exception or a sign of a problem. A delay only becomes likely if the tracking stops changing for longer than the previous steps took.
What happens next
- Most often (about half of cases), the next update is "Item is cleared by customs".
- Next most common is a handover to PostNL, shown as "The item is at the PostNL sorting center" or "The item is received by PostNL".
- Less often, the parcel is listed as arriving in a mixed bag with limited tracking, so later updates may be sparse.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. The parcel is moving through normal import handling.
- If the status stays the same for longer than usual, contact the seller first, with your order details and tracking number ready.
- If the seller cannot help, ask the courier to trace the parcel.
- Be ready for possible import duties or taxes if customs asks for them.
