What this status means
Economy SpeedPAK has scanned your parcel at a regional distribution center. This is a large sorting site that handles parcels from many senders. It sits between the first collection point and the final delivery stage. The parcel can be at a sorting site in the origin country, or later in the destination country, and the place name sometimes appears with the message.
Is my package delayed?
On its own, this message is normal. It is a routine checkpoint, not an exception. Parcels sometimes get scanned at a regional center more than once, so seeing it again does not point to a problem. Only if the parcel stays here longer than the previous steps took should you start to wonder.
What happens next
Most often the parcel leaves the center, shown as "Departed from Regional Distribution Center" (about one third of cases). In about a quarter of cases the same message appears again as the parcel moves to another center. Less often it goes straight to "Out for Delivery", or the tracking moves to the local delivery carrier, which can bring a new tracking format or a different language.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. A new scan usually follows once the parcel is sorted and moved on.
- If the status does not change for longer than usual, contact the seller first, since they booked the shipment.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you ask.
- Ask Economy SpeedPAK for a trace only if the seller cannot help.
