RECEIVED INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT DEPOT

TrakPak tracking parcel

What this status means

TrakPak has scanned your parcel in at an international freight depot. This is a stop in the middle of the journey, where parcels moving between countries are received, sorted and passed on to the next leg. The parcel is physically inside that depot, not yet out for delivery.

Is my package delayed?

This message by itself is normal. It is often repeated: the most common message before and after it is the same line, so you may see it more than once as the parcel is scanned at different depots or handling points. A repeat does not mean something has gone wrong. If the parcel stays on this line for longer than the previous steps took, that is worth a closer look.

What happens next

  • Most often, another "RECEIVED INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT DEPOT" scan appears as the parcel moves on.
  • In about a quarter of cases, the next update is "OUT FOR DELIVERY".
  • Less often, the next update is "DELIVERED".

What you can do

  • Wait and keep checking the tracking history. Repeated scans are usually a sign the parcel is moving.
  • If the history stops updating for longer than usual, contact the seller first, as they can raise a trace with TrakPak.
  • Have your tracking number, order confirmation and delivery address ready when you get in touch.
  • Since the parcel is crossing borders, watch for any request for customs duties or taxes from the seller or courier.
