"Departed Post Office" means your parcel has left a local USPS post office and is on its way to the next stop. That stop is usually a larger sorting facility, where mail from many post offices is combined and routed onward. The parcel is moving between USPS locations, not waiting at your door.
This message by itself is normal. It is a routine movement scan, not an exception. Tracking can go quiet after it, because trucks between facilities do not always scan the parcel. A pause alone does not mean something went wrong. It only becomes a concern if the page stays unchanged for much longer than the previous steps took.
Most often the next entry is "In Transit to Next Facility" (about 40% of cases) or "Arrived at USPS Facility" (about 35%). Less often you will see "Processed through USPS Facility", another "Departed Post Office", or "Arrived at Post Office" when the parcel reaches the office that serves your address.
