What this status means
"Delivered by airline" does not mean your parcel has reached you. In Aliexpress Standard Shipping tracking, it means the airline has carried the parcel to its destination airport and handed it over. The parcel is now at or near the airport in the destination country, after the flight and any transfers before it.
Is my package delayed?
No, this message by itself is normal. It is a routine step on the international leg, and it usually appears after "Flight" or "Transshipment - Transfer". It is not an exception or a sign of a problem.
What happens next
Most often, in about nine cases out of ten, the next update is "Received by Destination Customs". That means the parcel has been passed to customs in the destination country for import processing. Less often you may see "Released", an import clearance message or another flight. After customs, the parcel moves to the local postal or delivery network.
What you can do
- Wait and keep checking. The next update may take longer than the previous steps while the parcel is handed over and goes through customs.
- Check whether your country charges import duties or taxes. If so, they may be requested during customs processing.
- If the tracking stays unchanged for longer than usual, contact the seller through the marketplace.
- Have your tracking number and order details ready when you do.
