DHL Parcel Netherlands uses this message when a parcel comes back from a courier's delivery round without being delivered. The parcel is back at a DHL location and is being processed again. It has not been lost. Often the courier collected it from a ServicePoint or locker, or the delivery address was changed, and the parcel was scanned back in afterwards.
This message by itself is an exception, though not usually a serious one. It means a delivery round did not end with delivery, so the parcel is likely to arrive later than first planned. It does not mean the parcel is damaged or lost.
Most often, in about two thirds of cases, the next message is "Ready to send to the sorting center". The parcel then goes back through sorting and is planned for a new delivery. Less often, the delivery instruction or address is changed to a DHL ServicePoint, or a new delivery attempt is announced for the next delivery day.
