An iMile driver tried to deliver the parcel today, but the attempt did not end in a handover. The driver has taken the parcel back to the local iMile warehouse in your area. It is not lost and has not left the country or been returned to the sender. It is waiting at the depot for the next step.
Is my package delayed?
This is an exception, not a routine step. A delivery attempt has failed, so the parcel will arrive later than it would have if the first attempt had worked. The message alone does not give the reason. The entry just before it usually does, such as nobody at home, an address problem or no safe place to leave the parcel.
What happens next
Most often the parcel goes out for delivery again, and the next entry is "Our delivery associate is out for delivery". In other cases the shipment is rescheduled, assigned to a new driver, or shown as arrived at the delivery point. Occasionally a scheduling attempt fails because nobody answered.

- Check the entry before this one to see why delivery failed, and keep checking the tracking for a new attempt.
- If the reason was an address problem, check that your address and phone number are correct and tell the seller or iMile if they are not.
- Be reachable by phone, or arrange for someone to receive the parcel.
