iMile could not complete delivery because the address on the parcel does not match the administrative district it was assigned to. For example, the street or area named in the address may belong to a different district, city or postcode area than the one written on the label. The parcel is with the local delivery station, and the courier cannot confirm where it should go.
This is an exception, not a routine step. The parcel has not been lost, but it will not move forward until the address is clarified or corrected. Delivery will probably take longer than the earlier steps did.
The local station usually tries to resolve the mismatch. This may mean contacting the recipient, checking the address against its own records, or re-routing the parcel to the correct district. After that, a new delivery attempt is normally made. If the address cannot be resolved, the parcel may be held or returned to the sender.
