What this status means
Yun Express is preparing the export paperwork for your parcel in the country where it was sent from, often mainland China. The parcel is still there, usually at a sorting facility or near an airport. The courier is sending the contents and shipping details to the local customs office so the parcel can legally leave the country.
Is my package delayed?
No. This message by itself is a normal step in international shipping and is not an exception. It often appears between movements between facilities and the airport. If the parcel stays on this step for longer than the previous steps took, it may be waiting in a queue, but the message alone does not point to a problem.
What happens next
Most often the next update is "Clearence processing completed - Export", in about two fifths of cases. In a similar share of cases the next entry is "Arrived at airport", and in about one fifth it is a move to the next facility. After export clearance, the parcel is loaded for its international flight.
What you can do
- Wait and check the tracking history again after some time. Export clearance needs no action from you.
- If the status does not change for longer than usual, contact the seller first, as they handed the parcel to the courier.
- If the seller cannot help, contact Yun Express. Have your tracking number and order details ready.
- Import duties or taxes, if any, are handled later in your own country, not at this step.
